🤝 An Erasmus+ week full of discovery at CNFPC! 🌍

At the request of AFPA, CNFPC welcomed a group of young learners aged 18 to 30 from Saint-Avold and Amiens for an Erasmus+ mobility week focused on discovery, exchange and learning.

From 29 June to 3 July, our training managers prepared a varied programme across CNFPC sites in Belval, Esch-sur-Alzette and Ettelbruck, as well as with several Luxembourgish organisations and companies.

🔹 Day 1: Discovering the Belval site, its steelmaking history and its connection to ARBED, with a focus on the welding and forging workshops, followed by a visit to the Belval district and its blast furnaces.
🔹 Day 2: Visit to the Sommet site in Esch-sur-Alzette, discovery of the “Fresque de l’Hydrogène”, followed by a visit to an Agri-PV installation in Kehlen, developed as part of a national pilot project.
🔹 Day 3: Immersion at the Drone Center at CNFPC Ettelbruck, introduction to drone piloting and metal exploration, followed by a visit to the welding workshop, where the young participants joined actual CNFPC classes.
🔹 Day 4: Discovering waste management at SuperDrecksKëscht®, with a focus on waste related to welding, followed by a visit to the Circular Innovation Hub in Wiltz.
🔹 Day 5: Visit to HUSKY in Dudelange and the ArcelorMittal site in Belval, bringing this week to a close at the heart of industry and innovation.

👏 A big well done to this dynamic, curious and enthusiastic group! An intensive week rich in learning, encounters and exchanges, giving everyone the opportunity to discover new professions, technologies and expertise.
